Claim Your Character is a simple and entertaining game that involves building up a harem of your favorite fictional females.
This is the final round of claiming for CYC 2016. Add/Drops are not allowed at this point. Choose wisely.

- In Order To Claim Your Character, You MUST post a picture of her!

- The game will consist of 10 7-Day long selection rounds.
- There will be 2 purges during the game to weed out players with incomplete harems. The purges will take place after the 4th and 9th round

- Any attempt to cheat in the game will result in a voided harem.

Other Bulletins
Unlike with last round, there will be a standard purge to weed out players at the end of this round. If you are not caught up on your claims by the end of round 10, your harem will meet it's end.
However, the special purge for last round is still in effect, and the only player at risk is CannonBing, who must claim 5 girls (not including this round) in the round 9 thread before the beginning of round 10 in order to stay in the game. Otherwise, these girls will be purged:

At the moment, there are only a few players who are behind on their picks and at risk to be purged AFTER this round.

Other than that, the only other bulletin is to choose wisely. This is the last claiming round of the year, and there are no more add/drops. The only way to acquire or get rid of a girl is to trade. If you also follow CYG, you might be aware of the interesting position that lm3000 is in with his final round claim there.

Additionally, the round following this will be the long awaited Super Trade Round!
After all the girls have been claimed, you will be able to trade to your heart's content. The Super Trade is meant for large-scale trades, and you can make uneven ones, as well, meaning you can trade 2 girls for 1, 1 for 3, etc. Last year, we had the very exciting occurrence of HUGEblackCOCK trading every single member of his harem to wildboy10101 in return for his Franchise star, Jessica Rabbit. More details will come next week, though the No Returns Policy will still be in effect.

Also, since there will likely be some purged characters at the start of this round (unless CannonBing catches up), if his harem is purged, his girls will be available to claim this round. This DOES NOT extend to girls in Franchise Limbo.

I realize now that that's the reason there's a purge after round 9. However, it still seems a bit unfair to me that being late on one round gets you removed from the entire game in one fell swoop, so I do want to give players at risk some leniency. In that case, I'll put it this way:

Currently, the only person at risk to be purged immediately is CannonBing. Since it doesn't look like he'll claim, his girls are available to steal.
Anyone who is purged on Thursday can have their girls stolen, since everyone can make one more add/drop once THAT purge occurs.
In other words, there IS stealing this round.

I think I'm the only one who's stolen so far and I don't plan on stealing anyone else. I thought about maybe making an add drop though. Even though I wouldn't be too upset about not being able to make the add drop, it would suck if that option was taken away after I already made a move.

This is why I decided to give everyone a final add/drop after the purge on Thursday. It seems unfair to take away the opportunity because of how you played the game earlier.
Everyone will have the option of making an add/drop, but it's not required. It's also not required that you use the add/drop to steal a girl (in other words, it can function as a normal add/drop).

Well if dickdeeds is the only one that stole a girl and he planning on not stealing another i guest it is ok. But no player should get 2 girls that was purged.

I think that stealing from the two purges should be independent of one another. Either way, that's why everyone only gets one more, since even if they have stolen another girl, they can add/drop another without stealing. Plus, like you said, most of the players haven't stolen a girl. (Vivi Nefertari was close, but she was technically dropped.)
