Not Strong Enough

Supergirl's plan to infiltrate and then break up the crew of high-tech weaponry had started off without a hitch. She was a little more than a blur as she took down each member of the organization, leaving them dazed and confused in mere moments. It wasn't until she had them secured and waiting for pickup that something went horribly wrong. A loud boom followed by a bright light temporarily overwhelmed her senses. Blinking her eyes, she suddenly learned where the criminals were getting the technology. Standing before her was the supplier himself, Darkseid.

Her mind raced. First with panic and then with self-assurance. If there was any better way to prove that she was more than just Superman's . cousin, she couldn't think of a better one than beating dark side into the ground. Dashing forward, she planted one heavy right fist right into his face. Smirking she pulled the hand back and groaned as the evildoer's own massive hand wrapped around her waist and squeezed. Before she could realize what had happened she had already been flung into the side of the oddly cage-shaped room. Struggling to her feet she gasped as another strong blow from dark side literally blasted the clothes off her back! Suddenly left with nothing but her black thong and the tattered remnants of her boots, Kara cried out and tried to charge again.

This too ended in disaster, Darkseid being more annoyed by her than threatened. Not having any real desire to prolong the fight, he caught her by the throat just as she reached him and flung her downwards into the floor, causing the concrete to crack before lifting her up again and taking hold of her calves. Uninterested to the point of boredom, the Lord of Apokalypse simply raised his knee and slammed Supergirl's back over it, finally letting a grin crack his face as the sound of wet wood breaking echoed around the room. Seeing the look of anguish on this would be heroin's face, he drank it in before turning to see the buyer of the weaponry standing just outside of the fencing. Sighing and ignoring Joker, Darkseid dropped Supergirl's twitching body to the ground. Stepping over her and activating the boom tube again, the sound of her spine breaking was already fading from his memory as he returned home. The other in figure in the room however was far less interested in letting her be. Letting loose one of his iconic laughs, the clown prince of crime rubbed his hands together and approached the helpless Kryptonian, already thinking of a dozen different ways to entertain himself with her crippled body
