Recovering photos off old computer

Hi I am desperately trying to recover photos of my hot gf gf that were deleted. I have been able to get a few but good ones are only small and can't view full size. Anyone good with computers? Or have experience recovering deleted pics using some of these softwares please pm me. I'm sure it could be a lot of fun for you as well :)
