Cataclysm is the third expansion pack to the massively popular MMORPG since WoTLK Gold was launched in 2004 immediately following the 2007 release of Burning Crusade and 2008's Wrath of the Lich King. Prior to making Burning Crusade, Blizzard said that it would make annual expansions to the series, but the cycle of release has been more like per two years, since then. there was a gap of 22 months between Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King and 23 months have passed since the Lich King's launch at the time Cataclysm is released to the market.
It's a fact that the World of Warcraft franchise will be around for less than a years when Cataclysm is released to eager players in December. Speaking to P2Pah at the time of the 15th anniversary of the franchise, Blizzard chief design Jeff Kaplan said, "I am convinced that there are enough interesting concepts to continue keeping WOW running for until the Internet is alive."
What we learned: Although Blizzard entertainment has yet announce a date for the release of World of Warcraft 's third expansion, Cataclysm., Amazon, the online retailer Amazon is able to discern something that the rest of the world isn't aware of.
Yesterday night and early this morning the company issued emails to those who had purchased for the Collector's Edition of the expansion that the game's expected date of release will be between January 4 until January 18. 2011. Could Cataclysm be able to escape the 2010?
Strangely, amazon's World of Warcraft: Cataclysm regular and Collector's Edition product buy WoTLK Gold listings no more have release dates associated with the listings. The expansion is in beta right now and was initially scheduled to release in the latter part of 2010.
